Howdy, ‘Scapers! It is with great excitement and relief that I am finally able to post this information, which has been embargoed now for many months: coming this April from BOOM! Studios is a new, ongoing monthly comic-book series, Farscape: Scorpius.
The stories are plotted by Farscape series creator Rockne S. O’Bannon and scripted by yours truly. The art is by the talented Mike Ruiz, and editorial oversight is provided by BOOM! guru Ian Brill. The series is set shortly after Scorpius has been banished from Hyneria by the reinstated Dominar Rygel XVI and will run concurrently with the ongoing monthly Farscape series. The tone of the new series will be darker, edgier, and more serious than that of the main Farscape book plotted by Rockne and scripted by my buddy Keith R.A. DeCandido (aka kradical on LiveJournal).
ETA: ComicMix.com has posted a detailed interview w/me & Keith R.A. DeCandido re: our work on the Farscape & new Scorpius comics.
Not excited yet? Check out the two variant covers for Issue #0, “Fire and Ice,” after the cut!

G’day, sports fans!
Today’s breaking news: over on the site for NPR’s series Studio 360, Eric Molinsky has posted his audio segment about the new Watchmen feature film. (Scroll to the bottom of the page.)
He interviews noted author and comic-book scriptwriter Brad Meltzer, and he also talks to a group of “comic-book professionals” in a Manhattan diner… When you reach that part of this clip, the first voice from that segment is yours truly.
Enjoy!
